Seeking Rosa For Respect - A Musical Journey Of Women

Sierra Repertory Theatre located in Sonoma, CA is seeking Equity and Non-Equity submissions for African-American female singers for RESPECT: The Musical Journey of Women. Must be able to sing a wide variety of vocal styles including jazz, soul, and R&B. Directed and Choreographed by Brian Swasey. SRT AUDITION INFORMATION


Sierra Repertory Theatre brings in 85-90% of our talent from all over the US with auditions held in Los Angeles, San Francisco and locally in Sonora for every production. East Coast/Regional performers are strongly encouraged to submit, as many of our actors cast often come from New York, Florida, Chicago, and other major theatrical communities.

SRT operates under an Actor's Equity SPT contract (Category 6+). Salary, Travel and Housing is provided. LEARN MORE ABOUT HOUSING FOR ACTORS

All Non-Equity performers also receive a salary. Salary, Travel and Housing is provided.

ALL WEST COAST AUDITIONS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY & REQUIRE A SUBMISSION OF PICTURE/RESUME AND NOTE REGARDING SHOW/ROLE INTERESTED IN AT LEAST TWO WEEKS BEFORE AUDITION DATE.

EAST COAST/REGIONAL ACTORS WHO CANNOT ATTEND CALIFORNIA AUDITIONS MUST SUBMIT A PICTURE/RESUME & VIDEO REEL. (REFERENCES & REVIEWS ALSO ENCOURAGED). Please submit appropriate material based on the show(s) you are interested in being considered for. SEEKING: COSTUME DESIGNERS


Sierra Repertory Theatre is accepting resumes from experienced, talented freelance costume designers.

Depending on size of show, commitment is 2-4 weeks, salary $1200-1500 + housing + travel + transportation. Must have exceptional design skills, experience working with cast sizes large and small. Hands-on draping/cutting + wig/hair experience a plus. A permanent resident staff of six will assist the builds.

Please check our website for performance dates of shows you are interested in – designer on-site commitments are typically 2-3 weeks prior to opening night.
