ALEQ BATEMAN ALEQ BATEMAN (Fiddler/Villager) AleQ is thrilled to be at SRT and work with Scott! He’s appeared in many productions throughout the Valley, including Laurie in Little Women and Huckleberry Finn, both at Playhouse Merced. His favorite roles include Dickon in Townsend Opera’s Secret Garden and General Schmidt in YES Company’s Suessical. He’s played the violin since seven and honed his craft fiddling on the streets of Columbia. Love to God and his family. Thanks: Dawn, Juan, Jim, Carol and always, Buck Townsend. Psalm 119:9

ALI AXELRAD ALI AXELRAD (Chava) Ali is thrilled to make her SRT debut! New works and premieres include: Allison in Dirty Laundry, Lisa in Headshots, Grunhillda in Better than Beethoven and Sara in Through These Eyes. Other credits include: Wendy in Peter Pan, Anne in The Diary of Anne Frank, Little Girl in Ragtime, Gloria in Wait Until Dark and Godspell. Many thanks to Scott, Dennis and everyone who helped make this show possible! For my Grandmother xo.

BECKY SAUNDERS BECKY SAUNDERS (Golde) Becky was last seen at SRT as the Nurse in Romeo & Juliet and Miss Mona in Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. Her SRT favorites include Dottie Otley in Noises Off, and Angel-uh in Honky Tonk Angels. Last year, Becky portrayed Aunt Eller in Oklahoma! at The Welk Theatre Resort in San Diego, was a principal in a Broadway revue for The Herberger Center in Phoenix and ended 2008 doing special events for Cabaret Entertainment, Inc. in Arizona where she and her husband Jay, reside. Becky is a member of The Screen Actors Guild and Actors Equity Association.

BERLYNN SIMONIS BERLYNN SIMONIS (Riva/Villager) Berlynn was last seen as one of the wives in The King and I, and as the maid Anna in Idiot’s Delight, and she had a great time as the Momma in Thoroughly Modern Millie. Berlynn thanks Scott for this opportunity and dedicates her performance to Laura Bozanich and Bobby Pieranunzi who are her constant supporters and biggest fans.

BOBBY TRAVERSA BOBBY TRAVERSA (Motel) Bobby is overjoyed to join SRT for this production of Fiddler on the Roof. A native of Southern California, Bobby was most recently seen in Cabrillo Music Theatre’s Ovation Award nominated Jekyll & Hyde as The Newsboy and was an ensemble member for a staged reading of the cult film The First Nudie Musical. He is excited to try his hand at playing a Jew again having played Simon in the 2007 staged reading of Maccabeat!, a new Hanukah musical with a pop twist. La’Chiam!

BRYAN SEASTROM BRYAN SEASTROM (Rabbi/Avram/Villager) Bryan happily returns to SRT following White Christmas. Favorite roles include Big Jule in Guys and Dolls, The Soldier in Sunday. . . with George, Vinnie in The Wildest!!!, Narrator in Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol, Nana in Peter Pan and Mr. Sullivan in the national tour of A Kid’s Life!. He studied at PCPA and earned a BFA in Musical Theatre from The College of Santa Fe. He thanks his loving family and is excited to perform with his talented wife, Mary Lauren.

CAITLIN RANDALL CAITLIN RANDALL (Shaindel/Villager) Caitlin is delighted to be back at SRT – a nice alternative to teaching music at Black Oak Elementary in Twain Harte. Her last role here was Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music. Other favorites include Eliza in My Fair Lady, Rosabella in Most Happy Fella and Ensemble roles in Magic Flute, City of Angels and Little Shop of Horrors, or any small tight harmony groups. FLOYD HARDEN FLOYD HARDEN (Constable/Villager) Floyd returns to Sierra Rep after having appeared last season as Sir Edward Ramsey and Captain Orton in The King and I. Recent roles include Mr. March in Little Women with Foothill Theatre Company and Lord Stanley and First Murderer in The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival production of Richard III. Floyd resides in Roseville, California with his beautiful wife Leslie and their two practically perfect children.

FRANCISCO GARCIA FRANCISCO GARCIA (Innkeeper/Villager) Francisco made his SRT debut in South Pacific last summer. He majored in acting at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and soon will be transferring to the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York. Favorite credits include Motel in Fiddler on the Roof, The Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz and Curly in Oklahoma! He would like to thank Mark Seiver for his wonderful musical direction, Scott Viets for this great opportunity and Van Gordon for helping him through the years. Mazel tov!

JESSE McCOY JESSE McCOY (Sasha/Villager) Jesse has performed in Fresno, CA for the last eight years at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theatre. Previous roles include: Smudge in Forever Plaid, Kenickie in Grease, Pedro in La Mancha and most recently, Chad in All Shook Up. This is Jesse’s debut with SRT and he is thrilled to call this his first professional experience.

JESSICA COUTO JESSICA COUTO (Fruma-Sarah/Villager) Jessica is a native of Charleston, SC. Her recent performances include Jerry Springer, The Opera at Hollywood Theatre, Jubilee! at Bally’s Casino, Las Vegas, Christmas from the Heart and The Pajama Game at Dutch Apple Theatre, Into the Woods at Fulton Opera House, Beauty and the Beast at Broadway Palm Theatre, Fiddler on the Roof and Young Abe Lincoln at Lincoln Amphitheatre, Sunday in the Park with George at Strollers Theatre and The Sound of Music at Oregon Straw Hat Players.

JIMMY FERRARO JIMMY FERRARO (Tevye) Jimmy is a native New Yorker and made his Broadway debut in the Tony Award-winning musical Fiddler on the Roof. He’s appeared in over 2,000 performances of Fiddler on Broadway, in National and International tours, including the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion in LA, the Fox Theatre in San Diego and The Orpheum Theatre in SF. Off-Broadway credits: Valhalla, Krazy Keys and his one man show The Funny Man. He’s performed with Shirley Jones, Rosemary Clooney, Cesar Romero and many other luminaries. New York credits include: Chicago, Guys & Dolls, Hello, Dolly!, Man of La Mancha, and Jesus Christ Superstar. He’s also appeared in a Command Performance at the White House and at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas.

JONATHAN SCOTT ROTH JONATHAN SCOTT ROTH (Perchik) Jonathan is excited to return to SRT, following his 2008 appearances in All Shook Up and South Pacific. Recent credits: Burt Reynolds in the Tammy Wynette Story; Captain von Trapp in The Sound of Music; Curly in Oklahoma!; Rocky in Rocky Horror Show: LIVE!; and Featured Male in the new musical N-TUNE. Love to JMo’, JP, DC, TS, VP, his family and friends back home in NH, and his mother Lisa, without whose support nothing would be possible. To Dennis, Sara, Scott, and the SRT family, for giving him this wonderful opportunity!

JULIA GORETSKY JULIA GORETSKY (Yente/Villager) Julia is delighted to make her SRT debut in Fiddler on the Roof! Recent credits include: Mummy Dearest, The Holiday Extravaganza (The Great American Melodrama); Lois/Bianca in Kiss Me Kate, Sylvia in The Women, The Crucible at Summer Repertory Theater; and the North American tour of The Producers. Julia received her B.A. in Drama from UC Irvine, were she appeared as Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes. Julia would like to thank her incredible parents and friends for their constant support!

LEAH BATEMAN LEAH BATEMAN (Shprintze) Leah loves SRT, Scott and Dennis! SRT credits are Susan in White Christmas and, her favorite role, Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker. Roles include Jasmine in Aladdin and Cinderella, with YES, Freddie in DLO’s Will Rogers Follies, and Tootie in MPA’ Meet Me in St Louis. She has done radio jingles and a Honda commercial. Recently Leah was selected from thousands for the final callback list for Jane Banks in Disney’s Mary Poppins on Broadway. Love to God, family, Jim, Carol, Dawn, Melanee and Debbie from Juliene’s.

LEAH KOLB LEAH KOLB (YusselVillager) Leah is excited to make her SRT debut! Recent credits: Lady of Japan in the Hot Mikado, New Rochelle/Immigrant in Ragtime, Bess Walder in the U.S. premier of Nicola McCartney’s Lifeboat and Godspell, all at PCPA. She’s a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, earning her BFA in Acting. Leah would like to thank Scott for giving her this opportunity, her family for their support and her friends for always having a couch for her to sleep on!

MARISA ABBOTT MARISA ABBOTT (Hodel) Marisa is delighted to be in Sonora and in her first production with SRT! She is a recent graduate of PCPA. Some of her favorite productions include: Godspell, Ragtime, Sound of Music, and others. Marisa would like to thank her friends and family for all their love and support.

MARY LAUREN MARY LAUREN (Grandma Tzeitel/Villager) Mary is thrilled to return to SRT following performances as Ruth in Thoroughly Modern Millie and Rita in White Christmas. Other credits include Liesl in The Sound of Music, Babe in Good News, Sandy in Grease, Polly in The Boyfriend and Irene Malloy in Hello Dolly!. She earned a BFA in Musical Theatre from the College of Santa Fe. She has directed/choreographed for The Music Room, The Chance Theatre, The Genius Factory, ACE Musical Theatre, Parks Junior High and Villa Park HS. She thanks Scott, her loving family and husband Bryan.

MELISSA RINER MELISSA RINER (Klara/Villager) Melissa is thrilled to be performing with SRT again after performing in Romeo and Juliet as Rosaline and in White Christmas. Favorite roles include Wendy in Peter Pan, Mary in It’s a Wonderful Life, and Esther Smith in Meet Me in St. Louis. Melissa has also choreographed for Riverbank Community Theater and Starlight Productions. She would like to thank God for His bountiful blessings, and family and friends for their continuous love and support.

MORGAN MURRY MORGAN MURRY (Bielke) Morgan is excited to appear in her first professional play! Her past acting experience includes Small Alice in Sonora Children’s Theatre’s Alice in Wonderland and Esther in A Purim Play. Besides singing and acting, Morgan enjoys gymnastics, skiing, hiking and hanging out with her friends. She thanks God, her family and friends, Missy Hutchman, Joy Willow, Sonora Children’s Theatre and SRT for the opportunity to be in this play.

NICOLE LIGERMAN NICOLE LIGERMAN (Tzeitel) Nicole is thrilled to make her SRT debut and to share the stage again with real life leading man Patrick Kelly. A graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, credits include: Lizzie in Baby, Kate in Oklahoma!, Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, Oliver!, Kiss Me Kate, Music Man, and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Thanks to Scott and the production staff, Mom, Dad, Jessie, (Boo-yah), Elaine, Bruce, and to Patrick for making everyday something to sing about.

PATRICK ROBERT KELLY PATRICK ROBERT KELLY (Mendel/Villager) Patrick is excited to make his SRT debut. A graduate of AMDA, his recent credits include: FCLO’s production of Oklahoma! Danny in Baby at West Valley Playhouse, the Apple Tree/Ensemble in Wizard of Oz at Musical Theatre West, Bill/Lucentio in Kiss Me, Kate at CCPA, Farmer Walter in The Brain from Planet X and Boatman in Sunday in the Park with George, both at the Chance Theatre. Thanks to his parents, Sara, Nicole and the production staff of Fiddler on the Roof.

STEVEN STONE STEVEN STONE (Fyedka) Steven is appearing in his second show at SRT, following All Shook Up. He’s happy to be back with the SRT family and hopes that you enjoy the show. He would like to extend a big thank you to Scott Viets and the cast of Fiddler who have made this an amazing and wonderful show. Previous credits include Lumiere in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at Musical Theaterworks of Fresno and Eugene in Grease at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theatre, also in Fresno.

TY SMITH TY SMITH (Lazar Wolf) Ty is an SRT company member and some of his 59 shows here include Old Jake in The Christmas Foundling, Lord Capulet in Romeo & Juliet, Fred Rose/Pap in Hank Williams: Lost Highway, General Waverly in White Christmas and Lear in King Lear. A graduate of the Alabama Shakespeare Festival’s Professional Actor Training Program, Ty is a veteran of Off-Broadway, regional theaters and Shakespeare festivals across the country. He spent several summers with the Idaho Shakespeare Festival where his roles included Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night and Antonio in The Merchant of Venice.
