Book by George Abbott & Douglass Wallop/Music and lyrics by Richard Adler & Jerry Ross

A devilishly clever musical comedy! A middle-aged man finds himself endlessly frustrated that his beloved baseball team is constantly thwarted by the New York Yankees. In desperation, he sells his soul to the Devil for a chance to lead his team to victory. Yet as success and fame get closer, he finds himself yearning for the life, and the wife, he left behind. Winner of 8 Tony Awards including Best Musical, DAMN YANKEES features the classic songs, ÏHeart,Ó ÏShoeless Joe from Hannibal, MOÓ and ÏWhatever Lola Wants, Lola Gets.Ó ÏGood old-fashioned musical comedy fun.Ó Ò NY Theatre Scene
