ALISON COUTTS-JORDAN (Grace Hoylard) Alison is pleased to be making her SRT debut in Bus Stop. She resides in Santa Barbara, California and has enjoyed a long association with Ensemble Theatre Company of Santa Barbara in a variety of roles, including Flora in Humble Boy, Ruth in The Homecoming and Regina in Little Foxes. She received a Drama-Logue Award for her performance as Frances Black in Light Up The Sky, and a Santa Barbara Indy for her portrayal of Mary in Serenading Louie. Alison played Vivian Bearing in Wit, for which she collected another Indy.

FRANK SILVA (Carl) Frank is delighted to be back at Sierra Rep after a long time away from theatre. He is the regular M.C. for Community Feud each year but is thankful to be asked back up onto the boards again. His last performance for SRT was Pawnee Bill in Annie Get Your Gun four years ago. Past performances at Sierra Rep include: State Fair, Crazy 4 You and Oklahoma! He has also performed at Stage 3 in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare. He thanks God, his wife and his kids for their encouragement to get back up on the stage while he’s still relatively young!

GARY HOLMAN (Sheriff Will Masters) Gary moved from the Bay Area to Sonora after 20 years of regional theater work. Gary has done numerous shows with Mother Lode theaters and has been with SRT for ten years. His favorite shows are One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest as McMurphy at CAR, Captain Von Trapp in The Sound of Music with MAC, Hoke in SRT’s original play The Christmas Foundling, Orlando in As You Like It, Governor in Man of La Mancha and leading and supporting roles in Noises Off, The Tempest, West Side Story and Annie Get Your Gun.

JARRED KJACK (Bo Decker) Jarred is thrilled to be making his SRT debut as Bo Decker in Bus Stop. He has performed in theatre, TV, and film all over the United States. Some of those roles include Roderigo in Othello, Doc in Crimes of the Heart, Giles in The Mousetrap and Oberon in Midsummer. You may have also seen him flirting with soap stars and serving drinks on Guiding Light and As The World Turns. Born and raised on a farm in Walla Walla, WA, he received his Masters Degree in acting from California State University, Fullerton. He sends his love and appreciation to his Mom and Dad.

MARIAN SORENSEN (Cherie) Marian is thrilled to be making her SRT debut. Most recently she has been working with California Shakespeare Company in Southern California. Favorite roles include Hero in Much Ado About Nothing, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet and Bianca in Othello. Other credits include Into the Woods, Once On This Island, Cinderella, and Sweeney Todd. Marian would like to thank Jonathan, her family and her amazing friends for their constant love and support.

MARY KATE WILES (Elma Duckworth) Mary Kate is originally from Fayetteville, Arkansas, and recently graduated from USC with degrees in Theatre and English Literature. While there she performed in eleven productions including the roles of Jean MacLaren in Brigadoon and the Nurse in Hello Again and studied abroad at the British American Drama Academy. She is currently starring in the independent thriller Dark Woods and also producing her own script, True Love Sucks. She is thrilled to be making her professional theatre debut with Sierra Rep!

Regionally: Seattle Repertory, Milwaukee Repertory, Missouri Repertory, Syracuse Stage, Cincinnati Playhouse and Delaware Theatre Company, to name a few. Best Actor Awards: Will Rogers in The Will Rogers Follies and Sheriff Ed Earl Dodd in The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas. TY SMITH (Dr. Gerald Lyman) Ty is an SRT company member and some of his 61 shows here include Phileas Fogg in Around the World in 80 Days, Lazar Wolf in Fiddler on the Roof, Lord Capulet in Romeo & Juliet and Lear in King Lear. A graduate of the Alabama Shakespeare Festival’s Professional Actor Training Program, Ty is a veteran of Off-Broadway, regional theaters and Shakespeare festivals across the country. He spent several summers with the Idaho Shakespeare Festival where his roles included Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night and Antonio in The Merchant of Venice.
