WHO'S WHO IN MAMMA MIA!
BECKY SAUNDERS* (Donna) – what an embarrassment of riches! Not only does Becky get to be the Managing Director of SRT, she gets the fun of playing Donna, too! This marks Becky’s 38th production on or behind the stages here at Sierra Rep. She was last seen in the 2017 Season’s Noises Off as Dotty Otley, one of her favorite roles. Other favorites include Hannah in The Spitfire Grill, Lily in Six Dance Lessons In Six Weeks, Nurse in Romeo And Juliet and Florence Unger in the female version of The Odd Couple.
CARRIE LYN BRANDON (Sophie) – makes her Sierra Rep debut! Carrie has recently returned from her travels with Aida Cruise Lines as a Lead Singer performing eight different shows on board. Other credits include Bat Boy (Shelley) and The Rocky Horror Show (Columbia) at Oregon Cabaret Theatre, Big River (Mary Jane Wilkes) at Sharon Playhouse and Anne Boleyn (Lady Celia) at Marin Theatre Company. As a Bay Area native, Carrie grew up performing at American Conservatory Theatre (ACT), singing as a soloist with the California Symphony and Reno Philharmonic, and performing as the National Anthem soloist for her two favorite teams: the SF Giants and SF 49ers!
BOBBY COOK GALLAGHER (Sky) – is so excited to be making his first appearance with Sierra Rep and his west coast debut! Originally, from Allentown, PA, he graduated from The Catholic University of America in 2016 with a BM in Musical Theatre. Some favorite credits include Cain/Japheth in Children of Eden at the Strathmore Music Center, Tony in the Catholic University concert review of West Side Story at The Kennedy Center and Oscar in Sweet Charity. He is always thankful for the love and support from his family, friends and mentors all the way across the country!
JESSE GRAHAM (Pepper) – is stoked to be coming back to Sierra Rep after appearing in White Christmas! Jesse was previously seen as: Romeo in Newsies at PCPA, and has been seen in over 10 productions at The Rubicon Theater as: Dance captain in Return to the Forbidden Planet; Merrily We Roll Along; (Usnavi) In The Heights; A Charles Dickens’ Christmas Carol; My Fair Lady; (Action) West Side Story; and The Drowsy Chaperone. Special thanks to his family and to God for their love and support.
QUINN FARLEY (Ensemble) – is thrilled to be a part of her first production at Sierra Rep! Based in LA, she was most recently seen as Wendla Bergman in Mysterium Theatre's production of Spring Awakening. With other former credits including Teen Fiona in Shrek the Musical, Daughter in Pirates of Penzance and Ensemble in Cinderella all produced with PCPA – Pacific Conservatory Theatre. She hopes you enjoy the show!
ZACH PADLO (Ensemble) – is very excited to be taking the stage for the first time at Sierra Rep. As a kid, Zach grew up seeing shows at SRT starting with State Fair. He went on to see countless other productions including Paint Your Wagon and Scott Viets’ 2003 production of West Side Story. Previous credits include Andy Lee in 42nd Street (Bay Area Musicals), Tony Elliot in Billy Elliot: The Musical (Berkeley Playhouse), Riff in West Side Story (Broadway by the Bay), Dick in Speakeasy SF, an immersive theatrical experience (Boxcar Theater), Bad Idea Bear (Summer Repertory Theater), Man 6 in the American premiere of My Fairytale (Pacific Conservatory Theater). Zach would like to thank his mom and dad for their endless love and support, his grandma for sparking his love for theatre, and his girlfriend Catrina for believing in him.
KAITLYN SAGE (Ensemble) – is happy to be returning to Sierra Rep after playing Pickles in The Great American Trailer Park Musical this past summer. BRENDA O’BRIEN* (Tanya) – received her early theater experience in the Southern California area. Turning professional at age 12, she continued to make a living in the arts throughout her life. Brenda has performed in numerous theatrical productions, television shows and ﬁlms working with such greats as Robert Deniro, Sean Penn, Sean Connery and Hal Prince. Some credits include: Film: A Bronx Tale, For Love of Amy, April Showers and Back Story (Best Actress, Ralph Lauren Film Festival). New York Theater: The Witch Of Wall Street (Directors Guild), Purple Hearts (Second Stage), Kaufman and Cranes Rapunzel (Promenade), Stephen Sater’s Promethius Bound and The 1st National Tour of Chess (Directed by Des McAnuff). Regional Theater: Animal Crackers (Goodspeed Opera), Dames At Sea (Dramalogue award), Godspell (La Jolla, best actress), Six Degrees Of Separation (Blue Barn Theater), Quilters (Barter Theater). You may recognize her as the villainous title character from the PBS show and CD Rom games Where in Time is Carmen San Diego. Brenda is also a professional make-up artist for television, ﬁlm and Broadway shows, including: The Lion King, Disney’s Beauty And The Beast and Saturday Night Live.
RUSSELL GARRETT* (Harry) – is happy to return once again to SRT where he was last seen as Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady. He has directed and choreographed many times here including Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Beehive!, Idols of the King, Red, White, and Tuna, Guys and Dolls, I Love A Piano and The Drowsy Chaperone. His Broadway and National Tours include 42nd Street, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Show Boat and A Chorus Line. Recent regional appearances include Roger DeBris in The Producers, The Captain/Hennesey in Dames at Sea and The Interlocutor in The Scottsboro Boys. The recent AMDA Los Angeles graduate has been seen as Anytime Annie in 42nd Street (Candlelight), Miracle On 34th Street (Reno, NV), Peter Pan (Cabrillo), Thoroughly Modern Millie, How To Succeed…, The Drowsy Chaperone as well as Little Sally in Urinetown (AMDA). Shannon would like to thank her incredibly supportive friends and family!
BETHANY TAYLOR BADERDEEN (Ensemble) – is delighted to be returning to SRT after appearing as a supercalifragilistic tap dancing chimney sweep in Mary Poppins! After making her Los Angeles stage debut as a semi-finalist in LA's Next Great Stage Star, her most recent triumph was appearing as Patty Simcox in Grease at The Alaska Center for the Performing Arts in Anchorage, Alaska. As an advocate for education, Bethany earned a certificate from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, and a Bachelor's Degree in Theater Performance from UC San Diego. Bethany thanks her Mom and Dad, best friends, and her agent, Todd for always unquestionably hopping on the #beingbethany™ party bus.
REESE RUSH (Ensemble) – is thrilled to be making his Sierra Rep debut! Most recently he appeared at Oregon Cabaret Theatre as Arpad Lazlo in She Loves Me and was a swing for The All Night Strut. Other credits include; Kai in The Snow Queen (CTP), Hanna in La Cage Aux Folles, Peter in Jesus Christ Superstar, Jay in Lost in Yonkers, and Ig in Ug! The Caveman Musical at Camelot Theatre Company. Rush has trained with Broadway veterans such as; Mary Gordon Murray, Thomas James O'Leary and Jon Engstrom. He has also studied voice with John Deluise and Ellie Murray.
CAT YATES (Rosie) – is so glad to be back at Sierra Rep. She was last seen at SRT as Jeannie in The Great American Trailer Park Musical and Cha Cha in Grease. Other credits include Miss Hannigan in Annie at Berkeley Playhouse; Peggy Breen in Meet Your Mountain at Sacramento Theatre Company; Gypsy and Mary Poppins at Arts Center of Coastal Carolina; A Flea in Her Ear at Milwaukee Repertory Theatre; "Hoop Dee Doo" Revue and Finding Nemo: The Musical at Walt Disney World. Cat is a proud graduate of the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts.
ALAN GILLESPIE* (Sam) – is thrilled to be making his Sierra Rep debut! He recently relocated to sunny Florida after living in New York City for the last twenty years. KIPP MOORMAN (Bill) – Mamma Mia! marks Kipp’s Sierra Rep debut, a fact that is fantastically exciting for him. Kipp has performed in theatres, libraries and lunchrooms all across the country. Most recently with American Players Theatre in Spring Green, Wisconsin, as well as Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago, Utah Shakespeare Festival and Santa Cruz Shakespeare to name a few. Kipp is honored to be a part of this great cast and company. He also believes in angels.
MANDY CORBETT (Lisa) – born and raised in New York; Mandy has traveled all around the world and is currently based out of Atlanta, GA. After years of hearing nothing but lovely things about SRT and the surrounding community, she is thrilled to finally have the stars align and make her SRT debut. She is a graduate of PCPA - Pacific Conservatory Theatre, class of 2015. A few of her favorite roles have been: Young Penelope in The Penelopiad, a featured dancer in In The Heights, Deborah in Tilt, and Cathy in Company. Mandy loves theatre and people so please say hello, and she is so excited to share the story of Mamma Mia! with this beautiful cast, crew, and community.
HANZ ENYEART (Eddie) – is happy to be making his SRT debut. A San Diego native, he has recently appeared in the world premiere of Escape To Margaritaville at La Jolla Playhouse. Other recent credits include: Mordred in Camelot, L.A. in Gypsy, A-rab in West Side Story, Bobby in Cabaret, Rudolph in Hello Dolly!, Matthew in Altar Boyz, and Rexy/Jason in The Legend of Georgia McBride. LUCAS MICHAEL CHANDLER (Ensemble) – is thrilled to be performing for SRT as a Company Member. Lucas graduated from PCPA in the spring of 2015 and made his debut at Sierra Rep. In the spring of 2016 as Harry in My Fair Lady. Since then, Lucas has performed in State Fair, The Robber Bridegroom, Joseph…Dreamcoat, Man Of La Mancha and most recently, White Christmas. He is thankful for Becky and Scott for allowing him to stay and learn all he can, thankful to all of the hosts that house for SRT and thankful to his family for all of their continuous love and support. DERIK LAWSON (Ensemble) – is thrilled to be back on the SRT stage again. He just finished traveling around Europe for the past year as a lead soloist with Aida Cruises. Derik was previously seen on the SRT stage in the Barbershop Quartet in The Music Man and part of the Ensemble in Mary Poppins. He would like to give thanks to his friends and family for always supporting his endeavors.
