Six beauty contestants battle for the title of "Miss Glamouresse" in categories including swimsuit, physical fitness, spokes-model and beauty crisis counseling. Every show will be an actual pageant with judges selected from the audience, choosing who the winner is so you can expect a different outcome every performance! (Extra bonus to add to the fun: the contestants just happen to be played by men!)

Adam Estes* (Miss Texas) Theatrical credits include: Forever Plaid, The Andrews Brothers, Route 66 (Milwaukee Repertory Theatre); The Story of My Life (Milwaukee Opera Theatre); A Chorus Line, La Cage Aux Folles, Cabaret (Marriott Lincolnshire); Cabaret, Buyer & Cellar, [title of show] (Lake Dillon Theatre Company); Saturday Night Fever, La Cage Aux Folles, A Chorus Line (Arvada Center); and Madame Sherry (Third Ave Playhouse). Other credits include performances with The Goodman, The Paramount, Writers’ Theatre, The Ravinia Festival, Madison Repertory Theatre, Peninsula Players, Florentine Opera, First Stage Children’s Theatre, Skylight Music Theatre and The Fireside. TV credits include leading roles in ABC’s “I, Witness”, Comedy Central, TruTV’s “Hack My Life”, A&E’s “The Unit”, HBO’S “The Deuce”, Oxygen’s “Homicide for the Holidays”, and ID’s “Shadow of Doubt”, “Perfect Murder” and “On the Case with Paula Zahn”. Recent film credits include “Sunset” as Chris costarring Austin Pendleton which David won Best Actor and Best Film in Manhattan Film Festival, Los Angeles Film Awards, and The International Independent Film Awards, “Axcellerator” as John McGuire costarring Sean Young, and sci-fi comedy “Snatchers” as the White Duke. Matt Mitchell (Miss Deep South) could not be more thrilled to be part of Pageant at Sierra Rep! Enrique Vega (Miss Industrial Northeast) comes from a heavy comedy background. While residing in Los Angeles, he studied at The Groundlings Comedy Improv School, performed stand up at The Hollywood Comedy Store, and starred in a variety of TV and commercial spots, including the ID Network, NBC, Nationwide and Ford. Enrique currently resides in Northern California, where he works on being an MC personality, spends his time hosting a radio show (The Enrique Vega Hour at KCSS 91.9FM), hosting live events, and karaoking with his fiancé, Chris. Pageant will be Enrique's second musical he has ever been in and he hopes to achieve not breaking an ankle in heels.

Griffin Barr (Miss Bible Belt) is thrilled to be returning to Sierra Rep for another spectacular show! He was last seen on the East Sonora stage in 2016 during My Fair Lady as Lord Boxington. Originally from Illinois, Griffin now resides in Los Angeles with a BFA in Musical Theatre from AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts. Past credits include Joseph...Dreamcoat (Asher), Footloose (Jeter), and Anything Goes (Purser) to name a few. Many thanks to all family and friends for your love and support. Enjoy the Pageant!

Russell Garrett (Director/Choreographer) is thrilled to return to Sonora and especially excited to help bring Pageant to the Sierra Rep stage, a show in which he appeared in it’s original workshop and Off-Broadway productions. Most recently he has been seen on this stage as Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady and this last winter as Harry Bright in Mamma Mia! But he is mostly known to SRT audiences for staging Beehive!, The Drowsy Chaperone, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, I Love a Piano, Red, White, and Tuna, and several more. Russell comes directly from directing Camelot in New Hampshire and The Legend of Georgia McBride in Boston. Other favorites include Chicago, Hairspray, Cabaret, The Who’s Tommy, Guys and Dolls, and Gypsy. As always, many thanks to Scott, Becky, and the lovely staff at SRT for always welcoming me here.

Benjamin Van Diepen (Musical Director) is happy to return to the Sierra Rep team for Pageant, having previously played Jerry Lee Lewis in Million Dollar Quartet and music directed Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Most recently Ben served as Production Vocalist for Hong Kong Disney, and played Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, with the lovely Garden Theatre in Orlando.
