Performed by the sensational touring band Pet Sounds Live, this full-length concert celebrates the genius of Brian Wilson and the magic of The Beach Boys, featuring the entire Pet Sounds album performed live — along with plenty of sun-soaked hits and fan favorites.
Whether you grew up with this music or you’re discovering it for the first time, this show is pure California dreamin’ — rich harmonies, iconic melodies, and the kind of feel-good nostalgia that turns an evening at the theatre into a full-blown musical vacation.

Cast
Chris Cron is the lead singer and principal songwriter of the band Mêlée. A Southern California native now based near Nashville, he’s a session singer, songwriter, and producer. Chris has found viral success online with his Beach Boys-inspired content, which led to him joining Pet Sounds Live. He’s toured nationally, released major label records, and placed music in film and TV. Above all, he’s a proud husband and dad who cherishes his family deeply. TikTok: @chriscronmusics
I am a musician, left handed, and a licensed RN.
David Brown is a Recording Artist, Songwriter, and Musician best known for fronting Nashville’s indie-rock band, Sweettalker. David has been featured in American Songwriter magazine, championed by independent radio across the US, and has opened up for hit songwriter Kendell Marvel, Jason Isbell, John Oates, and many others. When David isn’t on stage performing, you can find him in the studio working on new music or collaborating with other artists and songwriters.
Benjamin Morren is a Los Angeles-based pianist, vocalist, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist known for his vintage flair and dynamic musical style. Blending jazz, swing, gospel, and pop influences, he performs with bands like Young Original and Dirty Rotten Vipers, captivating audiences with both nostalgic charm and contemporary energy. In addition to original compositions and collaborations with artists like Carver Bowers and Jim Brickman, Benjamin shares his musical journey through live shows, streaming platforms, and social media.
Chase grew up in a musical household, his father was a trumpet player in the USAF Band of the West for 20 years, while his mother, a vocalist, taught and performed locally in San Antonio, TX. A graduate of the University of North Texas College of Music, Chase has been performing live music since he could drive himself to gigs. Chase is a drummer, pianist, guitarist, and classically trained vocalist.
Artistic Team
Matt is a Grammy Nominated record producer, audio engineer, mixer, and songwriter. With over 30 years of experience, his most notable work includes artists such as: Casting Crowns, Underoath, Anberlin, Haste the Day, The Chariot, The Devil Wears Prada and more. He currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee.
Jay began his journey with SRT in the inaugural 1980 season – house managing, propping for You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, and acting in The Naming of Names. Over the decades, he has performed in many productions at SRT . He was a member of the first SRT company at the Fallon House as Nigel in Something’s Afoot. Route 66 is Jay’s seventh Scenic Design for SRT. He’s delighted to be collaborating with Mom – Diana Newington.
Jonnie Painter is wired to be returning to SRT for Pet Sounds Live: A Tribute to The Beach Boys! Formally, Jonnie was the Master Electrician at SRT and got to design the lights to many shows during that time including SRT’s tribute concert series, as well as performances like Elvis, Jersey Boys, Cinderella, and A Tribute to The Beatles. Jonnie is now currently based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin but still travels for theatres like Santa Cruz Shakespeare and Perseverance Theatre in Alaska.
