Louis is thrilled to return to S.R.T., having appeared in several past productions. Roles have included Freddy in NOISES OFF, Starbuck in THE RAINMAKER, Robert in DON’T DRESS FOR DINNER, Etienne in THE LADIES’ MAN, Picasso in PICASSO AT THE LAPINE AGILE and as Dvornichek in ROUGH CROSSING. Based in Los Angeles and proud member of Actors’ Equity Association for 34 years, Louis’ credits there include the Royal National Theatre’s touring production of AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE with Sir Ian McKellen at the Ahmanson Theatre, six seasons at A Noise Within, (Ovation Award Nomination for his portrayal of Camille in A FLEA IN HER EAR), The Colony Theatre (garnering a Best Actor award for his portrayal of Tom in THE GLASS MENAGERIE) and THE 39 STEPS at I.C.T. in Long Beach (Scenie Award for Best Supporting Actor); the Rubicon Theatre in Ventura as Millet in FUDDY MEERS, Ariel in THE TEMPEST and Fool in KING LEAR. Regional credits include two seasons with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Shakespeare Theatre Company in D.C. (Helen Hayes Award nominee for Ariel in THE TEMPEST), and other regional theatres around the country. For the 6th summer, Louis will be assistant-directing this year’s Shakespeare offering through the Rubicon Theatre’s Teen Conservatory Summer Program: Fearless Shakespeare. This coming Fall, Louis will be reprising the role of Hercule Poirot for the Oregon Cabaret Theatre in Ashland, Oregon, this time in THE MURDER OF ROGER ACKROYD.
