Luke is a music director, composer, actor, conductor, sound designer, teacher, and multi-instrumentalist. He is also a proud alumnus of Utah State University (BM) and the University of California-Irvine (MFA). He was previously Visiting Professor of Music at Utah State University and Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. Luke currently serves as Senior Lead Staff Accompanist and Lecturer of Music at the University of California – Santa Cruz. Recent credits include as a composer/sound designer/music director for Santa Cruz Shakespeare productions of Vincent, Master Harold and the Boys, Into the Woods, Hamlet, The Importance of Being Earnest, The Glass Menagerie, and A Christmas Carol (2024, 2025). Other theatre credits include numerous collaborations with the Lyric Repertory Company, Musical Theatre West, Pickleville Playhouse, Hale Center Theatre, Centerpoint Legacy Theatre, and dozens of productions at UCSC, UWSP, UCI, and USU.
